Financial Modeling & School System Leadership

After more than 15 years as a senior leader and executive, Graig Weiss now works as a consultant by supporting leaders and organizations in a variety of ways including leadership coaching and support, financial consulting, project management, and school-specific consulting services. Graig was in leadership roles at Foundation Academies Charter Schools for 13 years, first as middle school principal and associate head of school, then as managing director K-8 and founding intermediate school principal, and finally as chief executive officer from 2014 through 2022, overseeing the growth of the organization as student enrollment increased by over 550%. Foundation Academies has been consistently regarded as one of the highest performing charter schools in the State of New Jersey.

Prior to working at Foundation Academies, Graig served as the founding middle and high school principal at Cap Cana Heritage School, an English-immersion private school in the Dominican Republic. A 2003 Teach For America corps member, Mr. Weiss taught math and science in the Bronx and the Dominican Republic prior to becoming an administrator and was selected as Teacher of the Year in 2007. Prior to entering the education field, Graig worked in the financial services sector with Cambridge Associates, LLC in Boston, MA. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in finance and accounting from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master of Science in teaching from Fordham University, and a Master of Science in educational leadership from the University of Scranton.
