FACILITATION
Bringing people together is at the heart of every Bloom project. Whether it’s a quick meeting or a multi-day retreat, Bloom’s experienced facilitators turn any group time into real progress—keeping things on track, voices heard, and outcomes clear.
-
Bloom’s facilitation style puts people at the core of every conversation. We believe in creating safe and supported spaces with clear intentions, inclusive norms, and agendas crafted to maximize our time together so people feel engaged and productive.
-
We create spaces where diverse perspectives are welcomed, ideas are captured, and collaboration leads to actionable outcomes. By focusing on the needs, experiences, and insights of your team, we help groups move from dialogue to real progress.
-
Virtual meetings are now a norm, which can require an extra level of meeting “production” to ensure equity of access and engagement.
Bloom has experience facilitating across a variety of online platforms in both e-meeting and webinar formats.
-
For a truly memorable meeting experience, consider adding a graphic recorder to co-facilitate with Bloom. Graphic recording visually brings your discussion to life, capturing key ideas in a dynamic, shareable format. You'll walk away with a powerful visual summary and a conceptual model of your work—one you’ll want to showcase and refer back to.
-
Organizing a day-long or multi-day meeting or retreat takes careful planning to ensure participants are prepared and time is used efficiently.
With Bloom’s extensive range of activities and engagement strategies, you can create a dynamic experience that meets your goals and leaves participants feeling inspired and excited for what’s next.
“The team at Bloom were exceptional partners from beginning to end of our planning process. They genuinely care about the organizations they partner with and want to progress your goals forward. They actively listen and deeply engage in the goals of the project. They truly made our planning retreat more effective than it would have been without them.”

Annual Planning Workshop
District School
Bloom partnered with school leadership at a K-8 elementary school in Philadelphia to facilitate a series of visioning and planning meetings over school’s summer break. To inform session design, Bloom conducted a preliminary interview with the principal and collected data via a pre-meeting participant survey.
For the first four-hour session, Bloom engaged a graphic recorder to co-facilitate and capture outputs from a visioning session with the principal and a small group of faculty.
At the second four-hour session the next day, Bloom led the principal and a group of community partners through a planning session, identifying key strategic focus areas and setting goals for the coming school year.
Leadership Retreat
National Nonprofit
Bloom collaborated with the senior management of a national nonprofit to plan a leadership retreat focused on developing annual goals for their next fiscal year. Based on organizational research and leadership interviews, Bloom developed resources and facilitative experiences that supported leadership in the formation of purposeful and organizationally-aligned goals for the year ahead.
Bloom further assisted the leaders in the roll-out, introduction, and buy-in of the goals through the organization’s annual all-staff retreat. Over the course of two days, Bloom engaged over 150 participants with sessions centered on the annual goals, how everyone’s role may contribute to those goals, and methods of fostering connection and collaboration within and across organizational teams.
Board Retreat
Independent School
Bloom partnered with school leadership for an extensive pre-service training workshop for non-teaching staff in supervisory roles to establish a common vision and community of practice for future system-building and professional development. Bloom conducted a needs assessment in advance of the session and developed and led a full-day facilitated workshop to support the team in accomplishing its change management goals for supervision.
Six months later, Bloom was asked to design and facilitate a two-day board retreat. Bloom’s involvement included a board survey and analysis, drafting a vision for impact, and preliminary planning around potential future initiatives for the school.
